ANDO CLOUD KITCHEN

This multi-brand kitchen is situated in the heart of a bustling food market in one of Nairobi’s oldest recreation complexes that houses art, food, cinemas and retail.

This 32 SQM space comprises a commercial back-of-house kitchen and front dispatch area for two dynamic brands - Khan’s Kitchen and Dilli! The brief involved designing a facade which could integrate multiple brands for delivery and take-out only.

The long vibrant counter proudly greets customers and passers- by, resembling the rich diversity, colours, flavours and processes behind the brands. Stainless steel is used for the counter-top, kitchen-pass window, pendant lights as well as the signage to keep the material palette simple and cohesive. The fresh and muted design elements allow space for future brands to be added to Ando’s cloud kitchen. Customers can scan the QR codes for the menu as they wait in line.
